A recent report by The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living shows the LTC industry generates $529 billion in total economic activity, supports and creates over 5.4 million jobs and returns over $60 billion in taxes to federal and state governments annually.

Mutual of Omaha is one of six LTCi carriers backing the “3 in 4 Need More” campaign designed to encourage Americans to educate themselves about the need for LTCi. According to industry expert Margie Barrie, about three in four people need some form of LTCi to cover longer lasting illnesses not covered by health insurance.
