The swimmers of Surf City Aquatic Club in Huntington Beach, California had the experience of a lifetime when Josh & Kim Vandenberg paid a visit to their team for another successful BREAKout! clinic on July 11, 2007:

“Thank you Josh, Kim & Mutual of Omaha, for giving us the opportunity to host this clinic.  All of my children attended…and as I tucked them into bed later that night, they couldn’t stop chatting about meeting Josh…as I said goodnight to one of my daughters, she looked up at me and said,

‘You make me so proud to be your daughter…I know Josh’s children are very lucky to have him as their dad, but we are also just as lucky.  You might not have a gold medal, but some day I’ll give you mine.’
