Olympic Champion Neil Walker led an awesome BREAKout! Swim Clinic in Richmond, VA on Oct 6, 2007 for the swimmers of the Virginia Swimming LSC. The Poseidon Swimming team hosted the event.

My daughters swim at Nova but we were forwarded your e-mail about the Neil Walker swim clinic at UR and we attended the session last Saturday. I just wanted to write and thank you and Poseidon for sponsoring this event. I don’t know if you are in contact with Mr. Walker or the program that brought him to UR for this clinic — if so, please pass along my thanks and compliments for an excellent clinic. I cannot speak more highly of Mr. Walker. He had a very good rapport with the swimmers and is an excellent role model. His motivational talk at the start of the session was wonderful. Thanks again — my daughter said it was the best program she has participated in yet.
I want to echo my thanks to you all. Neil was just super!! His talk at our banquet could not have been better or more appropriate. I also stopped in during the Athlete’s Committee meeting on Sunday morning and was most impressed with the things I heard him say. He is an excellent example of all that is great about swimming!
