Olympic Champions Josh Davis and Matt Grevers led an awesome BREAKout! clinic in Chesterfield, MO on February 6, 2009 with the swimmers of the Parkway Central H.S. Swim Team.

I’d like ot let you know that my two daughters really enjoyed the clinic. I had intended to simply drop them off, but I ended up staying around and listening to the talk at the beginning of the program. I cannot say enough about Josh Davis. Wow! Talk about a dynamic personality! He was able to keep all the kids’ attention, got them to participate and really make it seem like he was talking to each kid individually. That is a gift. His remarks were well presented, timely, and splashed with just enough humor that the kids would have jumped off of a waterfall if he had asked them to. Additionally, I thought that Matt Grevers really did a nice job as well. Even though he is young, I can see him being the lead presenter in time. I was so impressed by how nice they were and how they took time to talk to the kids who were waiting for autographs and pictures. My girls talked about it quite a bit over the weekend. It was such an incredible experience just for the fact that we watched these guys on TV and now they can say that they met athletes in their sport. It’s not like going to the ballpark and watching batting practice- there are no local swimmers at that level that my kids can go see on a regular basis. Thank you for providing such a cool experience and at a price that was really reasonable- actually a bargain for all the information they learned and what they were able to take away from the clinic. I know my girls took what they learned to their next practice and could tell the difference in their strokes- especially butterfly.
