On behalf of the Huntsville Swim Association, I would like to extend a huge THANKS to Josh and Caroline for an amazing clinic on September 26th, 2009! We started the clinic at a very early 7:00am (I think I heard Josh say it was the earliest one he’d ever attended), but both were all smiles and full of excitement and motivation! We had about 65 swimmers from the ages of 6 to 17 attend the clinic. Every one of them learned something new, and even more importantly, found a renewed enthusiasm and love for their sport. Immediately after the clinic, four of our 10 and under girls left for a meet, excited and ready for action. Less than 3 hours later, they had broken our team’s 26 year-old record in the 200 Free Relay! Talk about putting Josh’s words of wisdom to work!
All of the feedback (see below) we received from both swimmers and parents was outstanding, and many have already asked when we are scheduling next year’s clinic…which we promise, will not be nearly as early in the morning! Again, thanks so much to both Josh and Caroline for an amazing event for our kids!

-My daughter said that it was the best clinic ever!!! She really enjoyed the clinic, she thought Josh and Caroline were great, said they were very nice and funny. I heard from other parents and swimmers what a wonderful experience it was for all.
-The inspirational factor was a huge selling point for me. I think this was the best money spent on my child in a long time.
-I enjoyed the talks that he gave to the kids, his enthusiasm and hearing about his own personal trials and triumphs.
-I loved the positive message and the motivation that was given.
-The contents of the goodie bags and the posters given out were very nice. Also, Josh Davis is just amazing and I realized just today that one of the brochures in the bags restated a lot of his presentation.
-I liked all of it, but I do think that the overall message of doing what is right in all areas of life was very well delivered. Looking forward to the next clinic.
-I thought that Josh was a wonderful speaker. He projected his voice, everyone could hear him and he was very encouraging to the kids. He does this for a living so he is good at it. I thought Caroline was good as well. I liked the question and answer session during the snack break. Overall, the day was broken down well as far as time goes.
-WONDERFUL job! They reached out to each swimmer. Josh made it a point to speak specifically to the older swimmers as well. I feel like that effort was appreciated since the older swimmers may have felt a little awkward with so few of them there. Josh also made it a point to call the kids out by name, which they got a kick out of.
-I loved JOSH and CAROLINE… very enthusiastic, which goes a long way.
-My daughter was absolutely awed by the Olympians. She talked most about the motivation and encouragement. She felt loved and valued. It was the best thing we have done since my daughter started swimming. FABULOUS!
