Olympic Champion Josh Davis led an awesome BREAKout! clinic in Midland, TX on May 3, 2007 with the swimmers of the City of Midland Swim Team.

C.O.M. would like to thank you for Mutual of Omaha BREAKout! Swim Clinic, I am positive that your advice will have a long lasting effect on our team. You have no idea how much closer our team became in those four short hours because of you, I truly do think of this experience as a major bonding experience for all of C.O.M. swimmers. All of us, the young kids and the older kids alkike, were so excited that you came. And all of us had a fantastic and memorable time with you yesterday. I could definitely tell a difference in the attitude and outlook all the swimmers had, not just on swimming but on life itself, from the time we walked in the door to the time we left.
You made many of our swimmers’ dreams come true yesterday and this morning when you got in the water with us. You inspired many of us to dream big and know that nothing is impossible. It isn’t everday that you get to swim with a three-time Olympic gold medalist and it is an experience we will never forget. When you got in the water with us, I could see many of the younger children’s faces light up, they were just so thrilled that you were going to race them, which to everyone was probably the neatest thing about the clinic.
On behalf of all of the C.O.M. swimmers, than you for coming, thank you for bringing our team closer, and thank you for inspiring all of us to do better.
