Olympic Champions Josh Davis & Rachel Komisarz led an awesome BREAKout! Swim Clinic in St. Louis, MO on June 17, 2009 for the swimmers of the Algonquin Golf Club Swim Team.

I wanted to take a few minutes to send you a note to thank you and Rachel for coming to St. Louis and putting on the Breakout Swim Clinic last night at Algonquin. My children (Katie (9 who received one of your USA caps for her streamlining) and Clark (7 who was thrilled to learn he shared your middle name)), my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the program. I knew it was a once in a lifetime opportunity for my kids to see, interact and learn from world class swimmers and I had heard and read great reviews, but I found it to be much more than a conventional swim clinic.
The kids thought you were teaching swimming techniques (which you were) but you brought much more. In teaching your “F”ilosophy and providing tips on swimming and training you also carefully and deliberately intertwined life values such as the importance of family, friendship, focus and fun which (as you know) extend well beyond swimming to all aspects of life. My wife and I are always working to teach and instill life values in our children and appreciate the fact that we can use your messages and materials to help teach and reinforce those values.
Thank you again for all of the positive energy, teaching and messages. It’s an experience that my family and I will continue to use and never forget.
