Ian and I had a great time in Syracruse, NY. We had over 120 kids from all over the area and thankfully we had 16 lanes to teach and race in. It was fantastic! Ian and I had our work cut out for us.
We raced all of them!! I’m pretty sure no one beat Ian but I had a few beat me. No more head starts! There were a lot of smiles and lots of great streamlines.
Congrats to Courtney who won the streamline award. After the clinic, Ian and I joined everyone at their team banquet. In fact, I just spoke with coach KJ today and she said that the swimmers were so excited
that they’ve decided to charter a bus and travel to Omaha for the Trials. I think this is one of the best decisions any club could ever make! Every young swimmer should get the opportunity to experience the electric and inspiring
atmosphere of the Olympic Trials and there’s not a better city to host it. Omaha makes everything better!!
