It was a great success. Christine and Eric were wonderful and we all had a great time. The kids paid incredible attention ( even my older ones who tend to talk their way through everything). Most everyone knows that I am a proud American and Texan. I love being a Longhorn and I love going back to Austin,TX. This weekend I met up with some of my favorite Longhorns [Brendan Hansen, Kathleen Hersey, Karlee Bispo, David Walter and Ian Crocker!] We all gathered to join the swimmers for a BBQ Friday night and enjoy the Austin weather.

Deb Osborn was a great host and she let me crash at her house. We hosted our event the next day and had beautiful weather. As always, I love racing the other Olympians but this one was fun because there was more than one! We had guest appearances from The University of Texas strength trainers. Brent and Angel helped educate the swimmers on proper dryland training. In fact, one of the trainers trained my wife in college! Pretty cool. I would like to congratulate Kayla for winning the streamline award. Great job and keep streamlining!
