A group of networking and computer experts from Mutual of Omaha visited the Omaha Street School and installed the technology tools for the school’s new media center room. The installation helped put the finishing touches on the room, which has received new coats of paint, newly installed carpet squares and new furniture. The room will be used by students at the Street School, enhancing their learning experience.

A second volunteer crew worked at the Omaha Street School, prepping what will become a new multi-media room for the high school. The room will feature newly purchased computers, computer systems and other technology that will enable the Street School to offer new educational opportunities to their students.

A second group of Mutual of Omaha employees made a trip to the Omaha Street School, serving lunches to the students and faculty and helping move office supplies for upcoming projects.

Much to the delight of their students, the Omaha Street School welcomed Mutual of Omaha volunteers to serve lunch two times in one week. The volunteers arrived in the morning to help prepare the lunches and, after receiving a tour of the facilities, served the food and helped out wherever they were needed.
