Fresh vegetables are a popular delicacy, for people and animals alike. That’s why a group of Mutual of Omaha volunteers installed a fence to protect the newly planted vegetable garden at the Heart Ministry Center. Thanks to help from experts at the Big Garden, the garden is up and running, complete with a strawberry patch.
A second volunteer crew worked at the Omaha Street School, prepping what will become a new multi-media room for the high school. The room will feature newly purchased computers, computer systems and other technology that will enable the Street School to offer new educational opportunities to their students.
