A group of Mutual of Omaha volunteers set out to prep for the summer season at Lauritzen Gardens.

It may have been a dreary, rainy day, but that didn’t stop volunteers from cheerfully weeding and mulching for four hours.

Visit Lauritzen Gardens July 24th during Wild About Omaha Weekend to see the fruits (or flowers) of their labor.

Building on the work completed by Mutual of Omaha volunteers four days earlier, another group returned to Heartland Family Service and continued giving back.

A group of Mutual of Omaha volunteers visited Heartland Family Service to do some sorting and organizing, making a huge difference in only four hours.

Mutual of Omaha volunteers kept working hard and giving back with another day at Camp Corporate of the Boys & Girls Clubs.

Five Mutual employees volunteered at The Stephen Center, responding to a need for a more organized pantry that can be used by regular volunteers on an ongoing basis.

The Mutual volunteers came together as a team to make sure everything was in the right spot – making it easy to locate the right canned goods needed by the cooks.

Mutual of Omaha’s 100 Days of Caring kicked off in April with a volunteer project at the Boys and Girls Clubs’ Camp Corporate. A group of volunteers from Mutual of Omaha helped prepare walking paths for professional concrete installation and did some additional clean-up around the camp.

Volunteers also assembled some new picnic tables.

Mutual of Omaha volunteers got down to business at Heartland Family Service’s Papillion donation center. In a matter of only four hours, the volunteers cleaned, rearranged and organized the donation center, with newly donated items ready for clients of Heartland Family Service.
